THis is a fanart drawing of Unit 04, the one built in the USA. It wasn't shown in the series, but acording to the concept drawings it was the same as unit 03, except for the colour.

It was also Stated unit 04 had 4 eyes instead of two.

you rock for posting this it's probably the best unit 04 pic ever.
@bobrox15 are you sure it had 4 eyes? because in every pic i've seen of it it had two like in this one.

As far as I know, Unit-04 had 2 eyes.

This is the most awsome and fantastic Evangelion 04 ive _EVER_ seen!!!!
Couple of questions: How long did it take you to create this masterpiece?
Can I have a copy?
And would you consider doing more of this unit?
(with a price or not, your call :D )

haha hi!.
Well, i used an eva action figure for pose reference.
The drawing just took me a few hours.

Sadly, what you see is the best resolution i have, back then (4 years ago) i didn't care about having high resolution illustrations (stupid me!).

With Rebuild of Evangelion (1.0 was great!) i'm exited on starting with more fanart.

Yeah im still waiting for 1.0 to arrive stateside, but in all honesty cant wait to see what others you come up with. (Eva04 is my fav but all of em are awsome :D )

Oh well, there's still hope!
It might make an appearance in Rebuild of Eva!BTW this pic is great, I like it.
And I just love Evangelion, ironically, even a few years ago I didn't like anime at all, but then I watched it and...there you go, I'm an anime fan now XD
